JR Richardson is an Audio Engineer and all-around production technician who has been involved in the live events industry in Whakatū Nelson since 2010.
JR is the Technical Manager of the Theatre Royal, Nelson Centre of Musical Arts (NCMA) and Nelson Fringe Festival and Head of Sound for Nelson Arts Festival, JR operates under his company VenueTech, established in 2019.
VenueTech also provides live sound equipment and engineering for concerts, musical theatre, events and live streams.
